UChi-Con holds its own Cosplay Contest each year, where cosplayers can show off their cosplays and strike poses for pictures!

Pop-up Escape Rooms will be hosting another escape room this year! If you are interested in participating, you can register online to reserve a spot and pay online or with cash at the door. Time slots are available every hour beginning at 10AM.

Twas the night before Christmas but Santa has been Claus-napped! Can you solve the puzzles, discover the secrets and open the presents to defeat Krampus and save Christmas in this holiday escape room?
Light the Christmas tree! Find clues in the stockings! Discover the Mouse King’s secret! Open all the presents! Santa Claus has been Claus-napped by the evil Krampus and his magic has been sealed away within presents under the tree. In this holiday-themed escape room you must work together to solve puzzles to open all the gifts, gather Santa’s magical apparel, and use them to defeat the Krampus and save Christmas! Great for kids and adults!

Cafe
We will once again be holding a cafe on the third floor of Ida Noyes! Food will be available from Noodles Etc. until 3PM. Tables will be set up in the theater for people to eat, lounge, talk, and watch performances. Please keep in mind that the Cafe accepts only cash!

Photobooth
We’re excited to once again be collaborating with CosMeetUp Chicago for our photobooth! Swing by their set-up for a professional photo of your cosplay!

Charming maids are eager to welcome you with a smile! Entry is $15 and comes with a complimentary beverage, snack, and lots of fun! Register for a time slot online and enjoy an afternoon of snacks and relaxation with our maids!

Game ROom
On the second floor of Ida Noyes, an entire room is devoted to gaming of all sorts. The organizer of this room is Kevin Fair, the founder of I Play Games. Once again this year, we will bring you all sorts of video games, wheter you prefer to get revenge with blue shells in Mariokart, make some noise on guitar or drums in Rockband, or Falcon-punch your friends into oblivion in Super Smash Bros.

Karaoke
Karaoke is back for yet another year! You can request any of your favoruite sing-along songs and sign up as many times as you want! Karaoke will be open all day, complete with a projector screen in case you need to see the lyrics. Bring all of your friends or sing alone, it's up to you!

Carillon Recital
This year we’re excited to have the UChicago Guild of Carillonists perform a recital featuring the 72-bell instrument atop Rockefeller Chapel, which is right across from Ida Noyes. They will be featuring Japanese music, anime music, game music, and more! Should you have any song requests, they are taking suggestions at the link below until January 16th and they will do their best to accommodate! Get excited for a whole hour of enchanting music from 12pm-1pm!
